Stoke Row Bikers - 2013
The cycling section of Stoke Row Club meets every Thursday evening while the light allows (starting Thursday 4th April 2011)
When? Usually every Thursday evening between April and September
What time? 6.30p.m.
Where from? The Village Green near the Chapel
Where to? Most points of the compass including, Henley, Reading, Wallingford, Shiplake, Goring, Russell’s Water.
What do I need? A good roadworthy bike – preferably a mountain bike, a helmet, a spare inner tube and pump, lights and some water
Anything else? Some spare change for a drink on route never goes amiss.
Does it get dark? Yes it can, so some light or high visibility clothing is a good idea.
I am sure I need to be fit………………….NO - routes tend to evolve, and although we cycle on and off road, we will gear the outings to the speed and fitness of those who turn up.
Why should I come along? If you fancy a journey of discovery, splendid views, good company and bit a bit of exercise then this is for you.
