Stoke Row Racing Club (SRRC) supports local people who are keen
on motor racing. They organise karting events and their members participate in
track racing championships and road rallies. Caterham racing is popular with
four members competing at different Caterham levels. Road rallies are fewer but
include famous events such as Le Jog, Europe;’ toughest endurance event,
running from Lands End to John O’Groats over three days.
Being in South Oxfordshire SRRC is positioned in the heart of
many famous motor sport teams in F1 as well as our Delta Motorsport and Spy
Motorsport based in the village. To celebrate our motor racing heritage we hold
our Annual Motorsports Day every summer to allow members to display vehicles,
exchange experiences and enable local visitors to learn a little more about
motor sport. Any donations collected go to our regional Air Ambulance charity.
SRRC is growing in stature and will in future hold more
activities including visits to motor sport teams, different racing circuits and
track days. For further details visit srrc.org.uk
